Chair of Trustees
Matthew Downton
As Chair of Trustees, I am immensely
proud to re昀氀ect on another remarkable
year for MK Community Foundation
and its generous donors. Our Board
remains steadfast in its commitment
to serving the best interests of the
people who are the heart and soul
of our city – those whose dedication
and passion drive the voluntary,
cultural, and community sectors.
Organisations
supported
This year, we have successfully distributed
121 grants, including vital rent subsidies,
helping local organisations continue their
essential work. Beyond funding, our dedicated
sta昀昀, trustees, and honorary structure have
worked tirelessly to create a positive impact
across Milton Keynes. Their e昀昀orts have
strengthened our pro昀椀le, raised awareness of
philanthropy, and highlighted the incredible
contributions of our voluntary sector.
We are also addressing key property
challenges and securing opportunities
that will bene昀椀t the city both now and in
the future. As part of the UK Community
Foundation movement, we work closely
with other community foundations,
sharing best practices and ideas to drive
meaningful change.
