Make a Big Impact
for Milton Keynes
Volkswagen Group UK has
strengthened its commitment
to Milton Keynes with a generous
昀氀ow-through donation and additional
endowment contribution in
February 2024. Its continued support
helps fund a wide range of inclusive,
sustainable projects, from grassroots
groups to major charities, creating
lasting impact in our community.
About the endowment fund,
Alex Smith, Volkswagen Group
Managing Director said:
MK Community Foundation is proud
to launch the MK YIS Legacy Fund,
ensuring the lasting impact of the
former youth mental health charity.
This new fund will provide grants
to local organisations dedicated to
supporting young people’s wellbeing
in Milton Keynes.
We are so grateful to our friends
at Women In Enterprise MK, who have
continually increased their annual
donation to MK Community Foundation’s
Women’s Fund. The Women’s Fund is
a vital source of support for charities
and projects dedicated to
supporting women and girls
across Milton Keynes.
Milton Keynes Preparatory
School pupils raised £143.65
for MK Community Foundation
through a charity pop-up stall,
showcasing creativity and generosity.
Their donation supports local
charities tackling the cost-of-living
crisis in Milton Keynes.
With applications now open,
this initiative marks a vital step
towards building a brighter,
healthier future for the city’s youth.
“We are con昀椀dent it will be used wisely
to give grants to local charities which
now, more than ever, need our help.”
