as an MK Community Foundation
Trustee, re昀氀ecting on her
leadership, strategic role, and pride
in supporting Milton Keynes’ thriving
charitable sector. She said,

ra昀툀e to support struggling families.
Their generosity is helping fund
vital projects across Milton Keynes.
Volkswagen Group UK has
strengthened its commitment
to Milton Keynes with a generous
昀氀ow-through donation and additional
endowment contribution in
February 2024. Its continued support
helps fund a wide range of inclusive,
sustainable projects, from grassroots
groups to major charities, creating
lasting impact in our community.
About the endowment fund,

MK Community Foundation is proud
to launch the MK YIS Legacy Fund,
ensuring the lasting impact of the
former youth mental health charity.
This new fund will provide grants
to local organisations dedicated to
supporting young people’s wellbeing
in Milton Keynes.
We are so grateful to our friends
at Women In Enterprise MK, who have
continually increased their annual
donation to MK Community Foundation’s
Women’s Fund. The Women’s Fund is
a vital source of support for charities
and projects dedicated to
supporting women and girls
across Milton Keynes.
Milton Keynes Preparatory
School pupils raised £143.65
for MK Community Foundation
through a charity pop-up stall,
showcasing creativity and generosity.
Their donation supports local
charities tackling the cost-of-living
crisis in Milton Keynes.
DREAMSAI, a multi-award-winning
charity, opens Milton Keynes’ 昀椀rst
daily temple and community centre,
ful昀椀lling a 50-year dream. Supported
by MK Community Foundation’s rent
subsidy scheme, this inclusive hub
enhances cultural heritage, charity
e昀昀orts, and volunteer engagement.

MK Community Foundation
strengthens its long-standing
support for MK Pride Festival with
a £15,000 grant in 2023, ensuring
greater accessibility and inclusivity
for people with additional needs
at the event. Keith Emmett III, Director
at Milton Keynes Pride Festival said:
“This generous contribution has
helped us elevate our event by
enabling us to provide accessibility
services such as BSL interpreters
across our stages, this magni昀椀es
our impact as a staple event for
the area, by helping us to provide
an inclusive event for all to enjoy.”

With applications now open,
this initiative marks a vital step
towards building a brighter,
healthier future for the city’s youth.
